Submit your blog or website to directories for quality, relevant back links.
People primarily submit their websites to directories because their listings in these directories are good, permanent links; because these sites normally have a very good search engine PR which serves as a high quality link back to their own site; and to get traffic and leads from these directories.
Here's my list of blog directories that I've submitted to recently; some require RSS feeds and you won't be able to submit your Publisher-For-You blog, others do not. I'll add to the list as I continue to submit. I want to save you the trouble of looking for sites that no longer exist or that are not currently accepting new submissions. All of these are free.
